Functions

1. To plan, formulate, coordinate, prepare and monitor the implementation of the key performance index for the Minister of Home Affairs, Secretary General and Director General

2. To plan, formulate, coordinate and prepare the departmental strategic plan and performance management for the short, medium and long terms

3. To prepare and coordinate acts, permanent directives and departmental circulars

4. To prepare and coordinate matters pertaining to the Parliament and Cabinet, as well as those related to departmental policies

5. Other duties as may be required from time to time
