OBJECTIVES

• In line with the recommendation of the Minister of Home Affairs, to reinforce communication lines at the ministry

• To facilitate and expedite delivery of information that is accurate and clear

FUNCTIONS

• To serve as an agent to disseminate government information, specifically from the Ministry of Home Affairs and RELA, to all members of RELA and the population

• To explain the functions and activities of RELA to all parties and to the Malaysian society as well as the international community through social media

• To shoulder the responsibility of realising the aspiration of the Minister of Home Affairs to internationalise RELA (through Twitter and Facebook)

• The RELA Media Units of the headquarters, states and districts are responsible for updating RELA’s Twitter and Facebook accounts as well as its portal so that they are appropriate for and in line with current circumstances.
