RELA Officers Take Corruption-Free Pledge

PUTRAJAYA, April 11 (Bernama) — Some 581 officers and staff of the People’s Volunteer Corps (RELA) department today took the Corruption-Free Pledge, an initiative introduced by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

Home Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Alwi Ibrahim and MACC chief commissioner Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad were present to witness the signing of the pledge led by Rela director-general, Zulkifli Abidin at the convention of RELA officers here.

Alwi said integrity elements should to be emphasised to prevent incidents such as corruption, abuse of power and things that could tarnish the reputation of the organisation….
